FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's basketball team held Lebanon Valley to 31 percent shooting in the second half and pulled away for a 90-75 win in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

- Garrison Linton (New Market, Md./Oakdale) had a double-double and matched his career highs with 21 points and 10 rebounds. He went 7-of-12 shooting and made all five of his free throw attempts.

How it Happened
- After a 3-pointer by Ryan Hader pulled LVC within 77-72 with 6:24 to go, Hood held the Dutchmen to just three points the rest of the way.
- The Blazers closed the game with a 13-3 run, limiting Lebanon Valley to just 1-for-7 shooting down the stretch. Linton scored eight points during the run as Hood made 7-of-7 at the foul line to close out the win.
- In the first half, Hood used a 16-2 run to build a 29-17 lead on a 3-point shot by Smalls, who scored eight points in the surge, with 9:17 remaining in the half.
- The Blazers still led by 10 after Linton sank a 3-pointer with 2:14 on the first half clock before LVC finished with a 9-0 run. Antonio Redding and Hader took turns hitting 3-pointers for the Dutchmen, with Redding's shot with four seconds on the clock cutting Hood's edge to 44-43 at halftime.
Analysis
- Hood dominated the glass, outrebounding LVC 47-27, including 19 offensive rebounds by the Blazers. The result was a 23-7 edge in second chance points for Hood.
