SALISBURY, Md. -- Junior Davidson Hubbard (Charlotte, NC) posted game-highs and career-highs of 30 points and 14 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season to lead Hampden-Sydney College to a 77-64 non-conference basketball road win at Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon in Salisbury, Maryland. Senior Ryan Clements (Conyers, GA) added 18 points to reach 1,000 career points and become only the 44th 1,000-point scorer in the 113-year history of the tradition-rich program. The visiting Tigers (14-4) trailed 38-34 at halftime before outscoring the host Sea Gulls (10-9) 43-26 in the second half en route to their fifth-straight win, and their 12th win in the last 13 games. Jordan Oates had 17 points and Brendan Davis added 15 points for Salisbury.

"Slow start today, but the guys turned it on in the second half and we were able to put together some stops," said fourth-year head coach Caleb Kimbrough. "Big games from Ryan and (Davidson) Hubb really helped us. Big shout out to Ryan for scoring his 1,000th-point. Such a huge accomplishment, especially considering we have had two abbreviated seasons. So proud of him for his development from year to year."
