Second Half Burst Leads Men's Basketball Over Grove City

GREENSBURG - A slower paced, defensive minded first half led to the Bobcats spreading it out and attacking the rim as Pitt-Greensburg defeated the Wolverines of Grove City College 63-48. After a 21-point first half, the Bobcats doubled its scoring output to 42 points in the second half, as JoJo France was able to get to the rim at will, scoring 24 points and dishing out five assists in the game.
 
Junior Reggie Priah also went to work in the second half, scoring coming one point and one rebound away from his first double-double of the season. Pitt-Greensburg shot 44.4 percent from behind the arc and 77.3 percent from the charity stripe, as France and Priah went 13-16 combined from the free throw line.
 
Senior Jaylen Williams also scored nine points for the Bobcats while securing five rebounds and three steals. Freshman Armend Karpuzi had a breakout game as he was all over the stat sheet with eight points, two boards, two assists, two steals as well a block.
 
The Bobcats had a total of 13 steals for the game, with France, Williams and Karpuzi all having multiple swipes. Pitt-Greensburg also had seven blocks, with Micah Jones having two.
