    Junior Miles Mallory (Beltsville, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) had his 12t double-double of the season with 26 points and 17 rebounds, senior Buzz Anthony (Arnold, Md./Archbishop Molloy) had fifth double-double with 18 points and 12 assists, and sophomore Will Coble (Charlotte, N.C./Davidson Day) hit six three-pointers for 18 points, as the top-ranked Randolph-Macon men’s basketball team defeated UMass Dartmouth 92-69 Friday evening in the third round of the NCAA Tournament to extend its win streak to 24 games and reach 30 wins for the first time.

    NEWPORT NEWS, VA - The Susquehanna Men's Basketball historic season came to an end on Saturday night as the River Hawks fell to the #4 Christopher Newport Captains 81-67. Susquehanna could not recover from a 15-point halftime deficit, as they never got closer than 11 in the second half. Senior Lukas Yurasits also scored his 1000th point in the game, eclipsing the mark at the 16:12 mark as his layup was counted after a CNU goal tend. Yurasits finished his career with 1006 points over his three-year career. Dominic Dunn was the leading scorer for SU, as the redshirt-junior had 22 points for the River Hawks, knocking down four three-pointers.

    Christopher Newport recovered from an early 9-2 deficit, and stormed past Susquehanna University Saturday night at the Freeman Center, 81-67. The victory propels John Krikorian's squad to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament. CNU will play Stockton (NJ) next Friday in a sectional at a site and time to be determined by the NCAA on Sunday.  Fifth-year senior Jason Aigner knocked down seven three-pointers for a team-high 21 points, and converted seven of 12 attempts, all from long range. Senior Darian Peterson tallied 14 points in the second half, six coming on three thunderous dunks, and finished with 18 points as well as a game-high 13 rebounds. The Captains improved to 26-2 with their 23rd consecutive victory.

    Junior Josh Talbert (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) led all scorers with 25 points, one away from his career high, and junior Miles Mallory (Beltsville, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) recorded his 11th double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds, as the top-ranked Randolph-Macon men’s basketball team defeated Babson 67-51 Saturday evening in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to extend its win streak to 23 games and set the program record for victories in a season with 29.

Wheaton improves to 22-6 on the season and advances to the Sectional Round of the Division III Tournament for the sixth time in program history.
