The Highlanders scored the first basket of the second half before Nazareth embarked on a 10-point scoring run to take the lead for good. Gabel scored two field goals, then Blankenberg, Park and Stenglein each scored.

The lead continued to grow and was extended to double digits, 46-36, on a basket by Park with 10:45 left. A three-pointer by Stenglein with 4:50 left made the score 66-47. A basket by Kevin Underwood with 1:00 left extended the lead to 72-50, then Jordan Haggard scored the game's final basket.
