Second half adjustments paved the way for the Bethel University men's basketball team to defeat Concordia College 73-63 Wednesday evening inside the Robertson Center.
The Royals overcame early shooting troubles finishing 45.5 percent from the field improving to 14-6 on the year and 11-4 in MIAC play. Bethel hits the road this Saturday traveling to Saint Mary's for a 1 p.m. tip.
Junior forward Chandler Wellman had a standout out night, thanks to a 13-point second half, with a career-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Jack Jenson played all but 30 seconds pouring in a season-high 23 points. Isaiah Carver-Bagley rounded out the top scorers with 14 and a game-high eight boards.
