Baruch Strolls Past CCNY (90-52), Stretch CUNYAC Home Win Streak to 15

The Baruch College Bearcats led from start to finish to record a convincing 90-52 win against the Beavers of CCNY on Friday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats improve to 6-2 in the CUNYAC standings and win for the 21st time in their last 22 games at home. They also stretch their home win streak against CUNYAC opposition to 15 games.

During the opening 20 minutes, they limited the visiting Beavers to 16 percent shooting (5-of-28).

They shot 58 percent (15-for-26) in the first half and were up by as much as 39 points in the second half en route to the win.

Adnan Bajrami led with 22 points (7-10 fg, 6-8 3fg), while Emil Purisic came off the bench to score a career-high 16 points (7-8 fg).

Ryan Graziano (13 points, 4-5 3fg) and Jehmehl Fair (11 points) also reached double-figured scoring. Benjamin Boateng grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked three shots.

Isaiah Denard was tops for the visitors with 19 points.

The Bearcats will return to action on Monday with a 6:00 p.m. home makeup contest against Worcester State (7-9, 3-1 Little East).
