KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team shot 67% from the floor as the Wolves defeated Wells College 102-81 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.

Keuka College (3-10, 2-4 NEAC) was led by Devin Milton (Opelousas, La. / Beau Chene) with 26 points, a career-high. James Barnes (Rochester, N.Y. / University Prep) added 20 points as five Wolves netted double figures in the win.

Keuka College 100 vs. Wells College 81

Wells College opened the game with a pair of threes, but the Wolves offense settled into the game and began to attack. The Wolves overtook the lead five minutes into the contest and did not look back. The Green and Gold struggled to miss in the first half. Overall, Keuka College shot 23-31 from the floor, 74.2%, as the Wolves led 50-40 at the half.

Halftime slowed Keuka College down, but not by much. The Wolves shot just 58.3% from the field in the frame, but made up the difference at the free throw line. Keuka shot 20-21 from the charity stripe. During the half, Keuka extended their lead to as many as 22 points as the Wolves continued onto the 102-81 victory.

  • Keuka College improved to 7-17 all-time against Wells College
  • It was the most points scored by the Wolves against the Express and the largest margin of victory for the Green and Gold
  • Devin Milton was perfect on the evening for Keuka. He accumulated his career-best 26 points going 10-10 from the floor and 6-6 from the free throw line. He joins Diamond Booker as the only player in program history to be perfect from the floor with at least 10 attempts
  • Keuka College scored 102 points in a game for the first time since November 2013
  • 67.3% from the floor for the Wolves was the second-best shooting percentage in program history. It was only bested by Keuka shooting 81.3% from the floor on January 30, 1988 against Seneca College
  • Rounding out the double-digit scoring for Keuka was Alex Medellin (Gilbert, Ariz. / Desert Ridge) with 13 points and Nolan Ivey (Upperville, Va. / Middleburg Academy) and Nana Oteng (Queens, N.Y. / Martin Luther) with 11 apiece

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will take to the road this weekend, travelling to Marcy, N.Y. to face SUNY Poly. The Wolves and the Wildcats will tipoff at 1pm on Saturday.
