The SAA office named Oglethorpe junior forward Josh Cammon the SAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week Monday, marking the first time this season that a member of the team earned the honor.

Cammon was outstanding in a pair of wins for the Stormy Petrels. He averaged 21 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and two blocks per contest in victories over Millsaps and Birmingham-Southern at Dorough Field House, all while shooting 53.3 percent from the field. He scored 32 points on 14-of-26 from the floor and grabbed 18 rebounds in Friday's 114-107 triple-overtime victory over the Majors, then 10 points on 5-of-6 from the free throw line and eight boards two days later against Birmingham-Southern. He made five steals Friday against Millsaps, then went for three steals and three blocks Sunday against the Panthers.

The Petrel forward finds himself second in the SAA with four double-doubles and 129 rebounds. He's also fourth in the league with 1.9 steals per game and 34 total steals.

Cammon and the rest of the Oglethorpe basketball squad now head to Jackson, Mississippi, on Friday, where they'll take on the same Millsaps team at 9 p.m. Eastern. After that, they'll continue to Alabama to go against Birmingham-Southern Sunday at 4 p.m.
