NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Isaiah Carver-Bagley posted 17 points while Noah Whalen added a career-high 16 off the bench for Bethel University men's basketball team who completed a comeback with an 81-73 victory over Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) rival St. Olaf College Wednesday evening.

Five Royals reached double figures in the victory as Bethel (10-4, 7-2 MIAC) downed the Oles in Northfield. St. Olaf (6-8, 3-6 MIAC) led by 11 points with 17:54 remaining in the second half, with Bethel's largest lead coming with 1:10 remaining in the contest.

Chandler Wellman added 12 points and a team-leading eight boards in the victory, while Jack Jenson contributed 16 points and Hudson Urbanus 13.

Bethel finished 28-of-59 from the floor (47.5 percent) while St. Olaf went 28-of-61 on the night (45.9) The Royals sank 14 3-pointers (45.2 percent on 31 attempts) and held the Oles to just 23.1 percent from beyond the arc (6-of-26) in the victory.

Trailing 38-31 at the break, Bethel completed a 9-0 scoring run midway through the second en route to the event eight-point victory over St. Olaf.

The Royals are back in action Saturday traveling to fourth-ranked Saint John's. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. in Collegeville.
