HOLLAND, Mich. – Albion College had the answer every time Hope College put a couple of baskets together Saturday as the Britons pulled away for an 84-70 victory over the Flying Dutchmen in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's basketball action.

Caden Ebeling scored four points and MJ Barnes added a 3-point basket as Albion scored the last seven points of the first half to seize a 46-34 halftime lead.

"The defensive end is where we started to improve as the half went on," Albion Head Coach Jody May said.

Albion extended the lead to 49-34 when Jamezell Davis, Jr. scored from 3-point range on Albion's first possession of the second half.

Hope never got closer than seven the rest of the way.
