LISLE, IL - After building a 20-point halftime lead, the Benedictine University men's basketball team needed to withstand visiting Edgewood College in the second half to secure a sixth straight win.

• The game opened with Edgewood leading 1-0 following an administrative technical
• While Kyle Graebner put Benedictine ahead briefly at 2-1, Edgewood scored the next seven points to go up 8-2 three minutes into the game
• Mike Boatright recorded a steal and a transition layup to put Benedictine ahead for good at 9-8 as part of a 22-0 run that was completed with a three from Boatright with 11:58 left in the half to hand Benedictine a 24-8 edge
• A three-pointer from Kenny Bogus with just over a minute remaining in the half handed Benedictine a 20-point edge at 42-22
• Edgewood's Ryan Buss hit back-to-back threes to open the second half as Edgewood used a run of 8-3 to battle within 47-32
