HARRISONBURG, Va. – Kyler Gregory compiled a game-high 19 points and nine rebounds in Guilford College's 71-52 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's basketball win at Eastern Mennonite University Saturday. Joah Logan added 11 points in the Quakers' (7-1, 1-0 ODAC) seventh-straight victory, which helped Guilford to its best start since 2013.

Ranked 19th in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll, the Quakers used a 10-0 run at the start of both halves to send the Royals (1-5, 0-1 ODAC) to their second straight setback.

Guilford held Eastern Mennonite scoreless for the game's first six-and-a-half minutes. Each Quakers' starter scored a basket in the game-opening 10-0 run, which helped the visitors to a 31-20 halftime lead. Gregory had 15 points and seven boards by the intermission.

A Mizz Nyagwegwe three-pointer followed by a Tim Jones steal and score got Eastern Mennonite to within 31-27 early in the second half. Guilford clamped down and kept the Royals scoreless for the next five-and-a-half minutes. A second 10-0 run opened a 41-27 lead with 13:16 left in regulation. Again, each of Guilford's five starters had a basket in the spurt. Eastern Mennonite drew no closer than nine points the rest of the way. Guilford converted 12-of-15 second-half free throws, which kept the game out of reach.

The Quakers took advantage of 20 Eastern Mennonite turnovers and converted them into 25 points. Guilford committed a season-low nine miscues and held a 40-33 rebounding edge. Jaylen Gore and Jorden Davis both added 10 points for the Quakers. Gore also had a game-high four assists.

Deion Harwood's 13 points paced the Royals, who shot six-of-22 from three-point range. Jones finished with 10 points and four assists.
