Senior Connor Bair scored a game-high 17 points and was one of nine different Tommies to sink at least one 3-point basket in Wednesday night's 88-53 home victory over Concordia-Moorhead in MIAC men's basketball play at Schoenecker Arena.
The No. 7-ranked Tommies (16-1 overall, 12-0 MIAC) ran their season win streak to 16, moved to 10-0 at home, and maintained their two-game lead atop the conference standings.
St. Thomas outscored the Cobbers in 3-point baskets 48-12 and also posted a 41-10 advantage in bench points.
John Reiten scored 12 points for the Cobbers (6-12, 5-8), who had only 12 turnovers but made only 35 percent from the field.
The Toms shot 53 percent on the game -- 16-of-33 in 3-pointers -- and had only eight turnovers. They raced to leads of 18-5 and 38-17 and closed the half ahead 53-28 as they converted 19-of-29 shots in the first half at a 66 percent clip.
