ASTON, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Men's Basketball team remained undefeated in the Atlantic East Conference on Wednesday night with an 82-77 road victory at Neumann University.

Rookie Greg Barton posted a career high in points (20) and rebounds (10) while recording his first double-double of his career.

Senior Clayton Wolfe also reached a career milestone recording his 1,000 collegiate career point in the second half. Courtney Cubbage led the Griffins with a game-high 21 points. Wolfe (14), Rich Dunham (12) and Jeff Seigafuse(10) rounded out the double-digit Griffin scorers.

Trailing by nine (25-16) early in the first half. GMercyU would close out the stanza on a 17-8 run with Barton scoring six out of the last eight points to go into the half all squared at 33-33.

The Griffins shot 56.7% percent in the second half to outpace the Knights. Gwynedd took their largest lead 75-64 with just over five minutes remaining in the half. Cubbage and Dunham put the game away in the closing moments, sealing it with trips to the free throw line.

For the game Gwynedd out-rebounded Neumann, 38-33.

Isaiah Wilmore led the Knights with a game high 18 points.

The Griffins return back to action on Saturday when they look to extend their win streak to four games as they host Immaculata in the Atlantic East Conference Game of the Week.
