Ryan Boll scored a game-high 18 points along with five assists and five boards, but the visiting Tommies had a tough day on the glass and lost 66-57 to second-place St. Olaf.

The Tommies (13-10 overall, 11-7 MIAC) are among three teams fighting for the last two playoff spots with Carleton and Gustavus. UST is home for its last two games -- Wednesday vs. St. Mary's and Saturday vs. first-place St. John's.

St. Olaf grabbed 16 offensive rebounds en route to a 45-28 advantage on the boards. UST also went 0-for-4 at the foul line as they fell to 5-9 on the road this season.

Michael Hannon added 12 for the Tommies, who never led. UST forged a 23-23 tie, but the Oles closed the first half on a 13-3 run. The Toms never got closer than four in the second half.

Since losing 84-75 four weeks ago at St. Thomas, the Oles (18-5, 14-4) have won nine in a row.
