KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team lost on Saturday to Wilson College 92-75 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.

Keuka College (9-10, 7-5 NEAC) was led in scoring by Trevor Powell (Manassas, Va. / Osbourn). Powell had 17 points and also had a team-high eight rebounds. Three other Wolves also scored in double figures with James Barnes (Rochester, N.Y. / University Prep) scoring 15, Greg Tyler (Edgewater, Md. / Southern) with 14, and Matt Estes (Watkins Glen, N.Y. / Watkins Glen) adding 11 points for Keuka.

Wilson College 92 at Keuka College 75

Wilson College jumped out to an early lead over the Wolves on Saturday. The lead grew to 10 points, 19-9, eight minutes into the contest. Wilson knocked down five threes in the half and also outscored the Wolves 16-8 in the paint. Keuka College rallied, knocking the lead down to five points, but the 10-point lead was reestablished by the Phoenix. A Trevor Powell jumper in the final seconds cut the margin to six points, 43-37, at the half.

In the second half, Keuka College scored the first basket to make it a four-point game, but the Phoenix responded with six unanswered to push the lead back to 10. The Green and Gold did not go away. They cut the lead down to three points with 13:27 left to play. Wilson College did not back down. They had their lead back to double figures minutes later and remained in control for the duration of the game. Wilson College continued onto the 92-75 victory.
