LaPlume, Pa.—The Keystone College men's basketball team got a taste of its own medicine in today's Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match-up against Rosemont College at the Gambal Athletic Center.

Normally it's the Giants balance on offense that causes havoc for their opponents.

Today, however, the Ravens returned the favor, as five players scored in double figures on their way to an 82-61 victory.  

Senior guard Charles Presley led Rosemont, now 9-5 overall and 5-3 in the CSAC, with 18 points, senior guard Mekhi Clemons finished with 17 points and seven rebounds, and junior forward Jalil Myers had 16 points and 11 rebounds.  The Ravens also received 14 points from freshman guard Nasir Cassel and 10 points from junior forward Alex Epps-Ortiz.

Keystone, which fell to 6-8 overall and 5-3 in conference play, received 14 points from junior guard JT Bennett, 13 points and 11 rebounds from junior guard Mark Perry, 13 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore guard Perry Belcher, and 11 points from Jaylen Nuckles.

Despite shooting less than 40 percent from the field in the first half, the Giants trailed by only eight at intermission, 38-30.  Cassel then ignited an 11-0 run with a 3-pointer and added another during the spurt as Rosemont opened up a 19-point cushion with 16:45 remaining.

Keystone was able to whittle the lead down to seven with 9:42 left before the Ravens answered with a 24-14 run. 

Rosemont shot nearly 47 percent from the field and salted the game away by converting 22 free throws, including 17 in the second half.

The Giants will return to action Wednesday, January 17, against Gwynedd-Mercy in CSAC action in Gwynedd Valley, Pa., beginning at 8:00 p.m.
