PLYMOUTH, WI - The Benedictine University men's basketball team played from behind virtually the entire contest and dropped a conference game for the first time this season at Lakeland University on Wednesday night.

Lakeland surged to a 9-0 lead just over a minute and a half into the contest
The lead extended to 21-10 with 13:41 left in the first half
Benedictine slowly chipped away, pulling within four on two occasions after points from Eric Grygo at 27-23 and 31-27 and again at 33-29 on a jumper from Brayden Olson
Kejuan Glosson connected on a three-pointer with 2:31 left in the half to draw Benedictine within 37-34
Lakeland led 45-38 at the half and held a 53-44 lead five minutes into the second
