QUOTABLE
Head coach Mick Hedgepeth
First off, hats off to a very well coached and talented Piedmont team who gave us two close games last year, going down to the wire. We talked to our guys before the game on how to defend without fouling and picking up the intensity on the defensive side of the ball, especially rebounding the ball. We did well on both of those tonight.

We outpaced the final 15 minutes compared to the first 25 minutes. With the first half playing out the way it did, the main thing we talked about in the locker room was taking care of the ball. We ended the game with 17 turnovers to their six, so that is something we have to improve on.
