SALEM, Va. - Senior guard Ty Sabin suited up in his Ripon uniform one final time Saturday afternoon as he was one of 20 players to participate in the 2017 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Reese's Division-III All-Star Game. Sabin led his East team to a 139-116 victory over the West squad, scoring a team-high 24 points.

It didn't take Sabin long to get into the action, as Ripon's career leader in points and 3-pointers converted a long three just eight seconds into the contest to give the East an early lead. That was one of a game-high six made 3-pointers for Sabin, who finished 9-for-15 from the field and 6-for-12 from 3-point range. The exercise xcience major from New Berlin, Wis. also added four rebounds and three assists, which was tied for second on the team.

An All-American First Team selection, Sabin was also named Central District and Midwest Conference Player of the Year this season. He started all 98 games during his Ripon career, scoring in double figures each time, while his career scoring average of 26.1 points per game is the highest among active players in the NCAA, across all divisions. Sabin led all Division-III players in scoring this season with a school record 30.7 points per game.
