LANCASTER, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's basketball team accomplished something no other North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) team has been able to do in two seasons. The Bison handed Lancaster Bible College a regular-season conference loss for the first time in 28 games here Friday night before a stunned crowd of 576.

A determined Bison squad erased several bad memories of playing at the Horst Athletic Center with a 73-56 triumph over the host Chargers.

The loss snaps a 27-game NEAC winning streak for the Chargers dating back to Jan. 31, 2015, when Gallaudet beat Lancaster Bible, 64-46. The home defeat is the first for Lancaster Bible at the Horst Athletic Center in nearly three years. The Chargers had a 31-game home winning streak dating back to Dec. 16, 2013. LBC's last home NEAC regular-season loss took place on Jan. 13, 2013, when Penn St.-Abington won 68-59. LBC is an impressive 52-4 in NEAC games since the start of the 2013-14 season.

Gallaudet (3-2, 2-0 NEAC) won for the first time at the Horst Athletic Center in four tries. The Bison last won here on Dec. 8, 2012, with a 71-60 win over the Chargers.
