LISLE, IL - The 19th-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team rebounded from the first conference defeat in almost two years by putting forth a complete effort in a home win over Dominican University.

THE DETAILS
• Trailing just once at 5-4, Michael Blaszczyk ignited an 11-0 run with a three-point play
• Brayden Olson finished the run with a layup at the 14:48 mark, making the score 15-5
• Another 11-0 run opened a three from Olson turned a 21-11 advantage into a 32-11 margin
• Blaszczyk capped the stretch with a three-point play with 6:15 remaining in the first half
• Benedictine led 43-18 at halftime
• Dominican scored the first seven points of the second half to pull within 43-25 before Benedictine responded with six straight, jumping ahead 49-25 on a layup from Adam Reynolds with 15:54 to go
• Benedictine would lead by as many as 32 points and was able to clear the bench early, using 13 players in the victory
STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine finished with a 47-29 advantage on the glass and produced a 12-1 edge in second chance points
• Benedictine out scored Dominican 46-18 in the paint
• Reynolds led all scorers with 22 points
• Olson and Blaszczyk each tacked on 15
• Benedictine shot 47.7 percent for the game while limiting Dominican to just 33.3 percent
• The defense held two of the top scorers in the conference to a combined 21 points
