RC Men's Basketball Game at Greensboro Suspended

Greensboro, N.C. -- The Men's Basketball game between Roanoke and Greensboro was suspended with 14:34 left in the second-half due to slippery conditions. No plans as to when the game will be completed are available at this time. The Maroons were leading 57-53 at the stoppage.

A jumper by Greensboro's Alvin Cunningham Jr. made the score 24-21 Roanoke with 9:45 to play in the first-half.

RC scored the next seven points, going up 31-21 on a bucket by Caleb Jordan with just over eight minutes left in the half.

A pair of C.J. Miles free-throws gave RC a 44-32 edge with 2:08 to play in the half. Greensboro used an 11-2 run to close out the first stanza to send the teams to the locker room with the Maroons leading 46-43 at the break.

With 14:34 left in the game as suspended and stats at this time do not count.

Up Next: Roanoke will host R/V Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday at Noon. At halftime of that game, RC will dedicate their new court in the new Cregger Center to former coach and Roanoke Hall of Famer Charlie Moir.
