How it Happened: The Chargers started slow and turned the ball over four times in the opening 2:30 as Bryn Athyn took an early 7-3 lead. Lancaster Bible quickly responded with a 7-0 run and took a 10-7 lead with 16:09 to play in the first half as Bryce Williams hit his second 3-pointer of the game to cap the scoring run. The teams traded buckets over the next four minutes as Jon Birdgave the Chargers an 18-17 lead with 12:58 remaining in the opening half. Bird's layup started a 12-5 run over the next five minutes that CJ Dunston put an exclamation mark on with a dunk off a fastbreak.

The Chargers opened up their first double-digit lead when junior Javon Cole hit a 3-pointer with 3:55 remaining in the half as Lancaster Bible scored 12 of the final 14 points of the first half and took a 44-29 lead into halftime. Williams knocked down his fifth 3-pointer of the half as time expired as he had 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting in the opening 20 minutes.

Bryn Athyn trimmed its deficit to eight just 1:06 into the second half as the Lions used a 7-0 run to begin the half and closed the gap to 44-36. Lancaster Bible put any chance of a comeback to rest quickly as the Chargers went on a 13-2 run over the next 2:38 and took a 57-38 lead on Jordan Mellinger's fastbreak layup. Williams hit back-to-back 3-pointers during the run and set a new season-high with seven 3-pointers on Wednesday night.

Lancaster Bible led by as many as 22 at different times during the half as the Chargers won by 20 or more points for the 13th time this season.

By the Numbers: Williams finished with 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including 7-of-11 from beyond the arc...Dunston had 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting, while fellow senior Jon Bird was a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor en route to 12 points...Kurt Keltner was the fourth and final member of the team in double figures with 10 points...Lancaster Bible shot 36-of-67 (53.7 percent) from the floor and held a 38-27 rebounding edge...Adonis Rosario led Bryn Athyn with 19 points.

The Coach Says: "I said the other day that we have been in a funk and I think we are starting to climb out of that and tonight was another example of that," Lancaster Bible Head Coach Zach Filzen said. "We didn't have a great start, but we picked it up on the defensive end and began executing well on the offensive end. I thought we moved the ball well, made the extra pass and dealt with their zone well for most of the night."

On the team's play..."We were a little shaky there at the start and even though we like to play fast, we need to be under control when we play fast," Filzen said. "After the first few minutes, we shored some things up and began playing our type of ball. It's good to win on the road and play well."

On Friday's game with SUNY Polytechnic, who is currently in second place in the NEAC North Division..."Friday's game is a big one," Filzen said. "It has some playoff implications as far as hosting goes and I think the guys are ready for the challenge. We are getting back to that high level we played at for much of the season and Friday will be a good test against a good team."

Extra! Extra!: Lancaster Bible is now 6-1 all-time against Bryn Athyn...The Chargers defeated the Lions, 102-75 on Dec. 5 in Lancaster...Dunston leads the NEAC in shooting percentage at 66 percent...Williams leads the conference with 19.7 points per game...The Chargers, who have already clinched a playoff spot, can clinch homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs with a win on Friday night against SUNY Polytechnic...The host of the NEAC Final Four is determined by the head-to-head matchup between the NEAC North and NEAC South Division winners...A win over SUNY Polytechnic would give the Chargers a 5-0 mark against the NEAC North with just one game remaining, that being SUNY Cobleskill, but the Tigers have been eliminated from playoff contention thus the head-to-head matchup with SUNY Cobleskill does not mean anything for the NEAC top seed.
