How It Happened
- The two teams battled closely through the first part of the first half. After Khai Roberts hit from downtown with 12:39 on the clock the Ravens took a 13-12 lead. After that point, the Giants assembled a 10-1 scoring stretch to grab an eight-point lead, 22-14 with 8:11 remaining in the half.
- The Ravens chipped away at the deficit with a 9-2 run of their own to get back in touch, trailing by a lone point, 24-23 with just under five minutes left in the half. Still behind by a point with 3:23 on the clock, the Giants' Tyreek Peeples hit a trey to put Keystone back in fromt, 33-28 with 2:15 left. Charles Presley would answer with a three for the Ravens to peg the lead back down to two points, with the Ravens trailing 33-31. Rosemont would trail 34-31 at the half.
- Rosemont started off with a 6-3 advantage to start the second half, but the Giants would answer right back. A dunk from Marcus Thomas would have the Ravensin front 44-41 with 16:47 left on the clock. The two teams would battle back and forth for the next eight minutes, and with 8:10 remaining, a three-point play from Khai Robers would give the Ravens a five-point edge, 67-62.
- Rosemont was successful over the next four minutes in holding the lead, but a triple from Peeples put the Giants in front by three points, 78-75 with 3:12 to play. Keystone would lead for the remainder of the game, ultimately extending their lead to nine points down the stretch.
Ravens' Top Performers
- Marcus Thomas had a strong game, notching a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
- Charles Presley hit on 5-for-9 from the field, all three-pointers, to score 20 points.
- Kyle Lafferty scored 15 and Khai Roberts added 13 for the Ravens.
For the Giants
- Tyree Jones led a balanced Keystone attack with 22 points (8-for-15 from the field, three treys).
- Tyreek Peeples scored 16, ShaShawn Drayton scored 12, James Cooper scored 12, Eric Hardaway scored 10, and Brett Riley added 10 to account for Keystone's players in double-figures.
- Riley and Cooper each led the Giants with nine rebounds, both just missing double-doubles.
Stats of the Game
- At the charity stripe the Ravens shot 23-41 (56.1%), and Rosemont had 17 more free throw attempts than Keystone, who shot 75% from the line.
- Keystone sank seven more field goals than Rosemont (33 vs. 26), with each team attempting 70 shots from the field.
- Keystone shot 47.1% from the field compared to 37.1% by the Ravens.
- The Ravens turned the ball over only two times in the entire contest (Keystone only had seven turnovers).
