The Coach Says: "The first half was probably our best half of the season," Lancaster Bible Head CoachZach Filzen said. "We executed very well and exactly what we talked about doing today. We shot the ball well."

On the team's defensive play..."Defensively, the first half was also one of our better halves of the season as well," Filzen said. "We took them out of what they wanted to do and were able to grab the lead."

On the team's ability to break games open..."Teams have started games off pretty well against us recently, but we are able to strike so quickly and are executing so well, that we are getting early buckets and it starts to have a snowball effect," Filzen said. "Any time the opposing team doesn't score, it seems like we do at the other end and it takes the wind out of their sails."

On the next week of practices and games..."It's cliché, but we want to improve each week and as I'm finding out, when you have upperclassmen, they want to do that as well and enforce that with their teammates," Filzen said. "These guys want to get better and having been outrebounded today, we know we have some things we still need to work on and get better at."
