The Millikin men's basketball team won at Cornell College 67-56 on December 12 in Mount Vernon, Iowa.  Millikin improves to 5-4 on the season while the Rams to go 2-5.

         Millikin led the entire game building a 34-26 advantage at halftime.  The Big Blue lead by as many as 19 points in the second half.  Millikin shot 46 percent from the field including hitting 10-20 (50 percent) from three-point range.  The Big Blue were 7-8 from the free throw line.  Cornell hit on 42 percent from the field.  Millikin won the rebounding battle 32-24.

         Millikin got a career high 30 points and from senior Tommy Pilackas.  Pilackas added six rebounds and three assists.  TJ Griffin had eight points, six rebounds and four assists.  Freshman Jack Simpson had eight points and a team high seven assists.  Nathan Lovekamp came off the Millikin bench to score eight.

Bryn Agnew led Millikin with seven rebounds.

         Cornell was led by Corey Davis with 15 points.

         Millikin will play in a tournament at Trine University on December 19-20.
