NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Newbury College men's basketball team came back from a nine-point deficit midway through the second period to defeat, Connecticut College, 82-80, Saturday afternoon. It was the first victory in program history against at NESCAC institution.

- The Nighthawks kept chipping away at the deficit taking advantage of Camel fouls and shooting four-of-four from the charity stripe over the next three minutes…
- With 5:48 left, Langston netted four of the Nighthawks eight points in a 8-0 run to shift momentum over to the bench of the Nighthawks…
- Connecticut's Bo McKinley broke up the scoring draught for the Camels with 3:22 to re-gain the lead, 76-75…
- Junior forward Kayvon Murray got that right back knocking down a jumper, taking the 77-76 lead….
