BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Pitt-Bradford men's basketball team traveled to Medaille and came away with a big road win, 69-54.

Pitt-Bradford (14-10, 11-6) was led offensively by senior Keith Burgess (Hillside NJ/Hillside) who contributed 16 points in the win.

The Panthers had four players reach double-digit scoring, with sophomore Zach Smith (Smethport/Smethport) adding 14, senior Lucas Pichette (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda) 13 and junior Eric Matheson (Ridgway/Ridgway) with 10.

Medaille (16-7, 13-4) was led by Jammal Coleman, who tallied 22 points in the loss for the Mavericks.

Pitt-Bradford came out in the first half and dominated on both ends of the floor. The offense exploded out to a big lead early, as the Panthers led 32-10 with 5:00 remaining.

The Panthers couldn't miss from beyond the arc as they capitalized on 6 three-pointers in the first half and shot 100 percent from three-point range, building a 38-22 lead going in the locker room.

Pitt-Bradford came out in the second half with the same energy and focus on both sides of the ball they showed in the first half.

The offense kept rolling as the Panthers took their largest lead of the night after a pair of made free throws by Pichette, making the score 54-30.

Pitt-Bradford was firing on all cylinders as the Panthers went on to get a huge team win against the Mavericks by the final score of 69-54.

Pitt-Bradford will return home to face Mount Aloysius on Saturday for its Senior Game at 3 p.m. at KOA Arena.
