It was all Hilbert in the second half. The Hawks caught fire shooting the ball going 5-7 from three-point range in the second half and took the lead away from the Panthers. Hilbert expanded that lead to 71-58 before a timeout was called by Pitt-Bradford with 8:24 remaining in the game.

The Panthers came out of the timeout with a quick three-pointer by Fantaskey, which sparked an 8-2 run for the Panthers.

Pitt-Bradford chipped away at the Hawks' lead and got it down to 82-79 with 1:24 remaining after a tough layup by sophomore Manny Welch (Buffalo, NY/ Bishop).

However, the Hawks were able to hang on converting from the free-throw line late in the game to hold off the Panthers, 88-79

The Panthers will return home to face Penn State Altoona at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at KOA Arena. The game Saturday will be the annual Alumni Game for the Panthers.
