Annorh Game-Winner Lifts Roos Past Davis

Johnson City, NY – Sam Annorh (Queens, NY) scored the game-winner with 26 seconds remaining and the Roos came up with two big defensive stops down the stretch as the men's basketball team defeated host Davis College, 76-75, on Saturday evening.
 
Romario Fletcher (Queens, NY) posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds while adding three steals. Annorh finished with 21 points, six assists, five steals and four boards. 

SUNY Canton used a strong effort to come away with the victory as they committed just nine turnovers in the game while forcing the hosts to give up the ball 18 times including 10 SUNY Canton steals.

The turnover differential led the Roos to get off 15 more shot attempts in the game and they made a living at the free throw line, hitting on 18 of their 22 attempts. Despite getting outrebounded 41-36, SUNY Canton held a 14-9 edge on the offensive glass.
