A 40-30 Knights lead with 17:05 on the second half clock turned into a 51-30 edge with 13:14 remaining in regulation following an 11-0 run capped by back-to-back three pointers from senior forward Matt Curry. Geneseo's lead would balloon to as many as 24 points down the stretch as the Knights cruised to their fourth-straight victory.

"I thought we played a very strong game tonight and was very happy with all the energy we had not only tonight, but throughout the week leading up to the game during our trip," said head coach Steve Minton. "We were able to close out the first half very well as they had some trouble getting into their offense because of our press. We also came out strong in the second half and were able to control the game the rest of the way which was important."

Geneseo built a 40-27 rebounding advantage, including a 28-19 edge on the defensiv boards. The Knights also shot 491. percent from the field, including 44.4 from long range.

Curry finished scoring in double-digits with 11 points, including 3-of-4 three pointers, while junior forward James McKenna added seven points and eight rebounds in the victory.

The trip to the West Coast was the team's first since 2009 when the Knights took on Division-II St. Martin (Wash.) and Western Washington.

Geneseo kicks off the State University of New York Athletic Conference portion of the 2013-14 campaign next Tuesday (Jan. 7), hosting Brockport at 7:00 p.m. in Schrader Gymnasium.
