LA VERNE, Calif. – Coby Proctor's (Jr., Sublimity, Ore.) buzzer-beating three-pointer kept Pacific alive in their 2013-14 men's basketball season opener Friday night, but La Verne dominated the extra period to score a 72-63 overtime win at the La Verne Sports Pavilion.
