GRINNELL, Iowa – With Tuesday's 99-90 victory over Cornell College, Grinnell College men's basketball coach David Arseneault has reached the 300-win milestone for his career.

Arseneault, already the winningest coach in program history, became just the fifth men's basketball coach in the Midwest Conference to join the 300-win club.

Additionally, Tuesday's victory was Arseneault's 200th in league play. The Pioneers improved to 17-4 overall and 14-3 in the MWC with the win, pushing Arseneault's career marks to 300-234 overall and 200-155 in the conference.

Since coming to Grinnell in 1989, Arseneault has claimed five MWC championships and been named the league's coach of the year five times. He has guided the Pioneers to postseason play a dozen times.

This season's Pioneer team is again leading the nation in scoring, something Grinnell has done 17 of the past 19 seasons.
