SALEM, Va. – Josh Pittman totaled 19 points, six rebounds and seven assists in Guilford College's 76-48 Old Dominion Athletic Conference basketball win at Roanoke College Wednesday.

The Quakers (15-5, 7-4 ODAC) raced to a 47-25 halftime lead to snap their first three-game ODAC losing skid since 2006. Matt McCarthy hit for 13 of his 16 points in the opening half and Pittman added 11 for Guilford, which made seven three-pointers in the frame. The Quakers shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half, as compared to Roanoke's 29.7 percent shooting. The Maroons (8-12, 1-10 ODAC) misfired on all nine three-point attempts in the opening period.

Guilford scored the first seven points of the second half, which opened a 54-25 margin before Roanoke's Daniel Eacho scored at the 15:30 mark. The Maroons drew no closer than 21 points the rest of the way.

The Quakers had four double-figure scorers, led by backcourt mates Pittman and McCarthy. Forward Jake Hopkins scored 11 points and center Will Freeman added 10 off the bench, all in the first half. Guilford enjoyed a commanding 51-38 rebounding advantage, led by rookie Zeb Richardson's game-high 10 rebounds.

Eacho finished with a team-high nine points for Roanoke. The Maroons managed just 27.5% field-goal shooting, including two-for-22 from beyond the arc.

Guilford hosts league newcomer Shenandoah University Saturday (2/2) at 2:00 p.m.
