In the first half, Rochester controlled the pace with an early 14-0 run and built a 19-3 lead following a layup from Tyler Sankes with 12:52 left before the break. That lead reached as many as 20 on three separate occasions later in the period, including when Tyler Seidman hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to make the score 45-25.
