Bethel holds Scots to 32 points

Bethel held Macalester to 11 first-half points and went on to cruise past the Scots 70-32 Saturday afternoon at the Leonard Center.  The Royals shot 51% for the game and enjoyed a +11 turnover advantage to improve to 10-6 on the season, 6-5 in the MIAC.

 

The Scots were led in the scoring column by Dylan Kilgour (Fy., La Crescenta, Calif. / Crescenta Valley) with eight points.  Sam Marshall (Sr., Sun Prairie, Wis.) had six points and five rebounds.  Samson Bialostok (So., North Woodmere, N.Y. / Lawrence) led the defense with four steals.

 

Bethel's balanced attack was led by Taylor Hall with 13 points and Derek Wolhowe with 11 off the bench.

 

Macalester returns to the court next Wednesday (Jan. 23) when it plays host to St. John's at 7:30 p.m.
