DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College sophomore guard Nick Sullivan came off the bench and drained all five of his 3-point attempts in the first half as the Aggies shot the lights outs all afternoon, en route to a 94-57 rout of visiting Kean University.

It was the final game of the first semester for Delaware Valley as the Aggies improved their record to 5-4. They will next the court on Saturday, December when they take on Husson College at the Catholic University-Holiday Inn College Park Classic. Kean saw its record fall to 3-6.

Delaware Valley shot 58.8 percent from the field, including a 13-for-22 (59.1%) effort from beyond the arc. The team exploded for a 48-point first half as it hit 17 of 30 shots (56.7), including nine treys in 16 attempts (56.3%), and they were even better in the second stanza as they shot 61.9 percent from the field (4-for-6 from 3-point land).

One of the reasons for the hot shooting was Sullivan. He came in just three minutes into the contest and with the Aggies trailing 2-0. Seven minutes later, they were up 16, 26-10, as Sullivan drained a jumper and four treys as part of the 26-8 spurt. He scored 11 points in a row in a 98-second span and that nearly matched his previous career high of 12 set earlier in the season.

The Cougars got their deficit down to 12, 28-16, but Delaware Valley countered with 10 straight, including another bomb from Sullivan as he finished the half 6-for-6 from the field and the 5-for-5 from beyond the arc. The Aggies eventually moved the advantage to 27, 48-21, at the break.

Delaware Valley kept it going in the second half as the lead ballooned to as many 44. One of the highlights of the stanza was a follow-up jam by Jeremy Beckett that brought the crowd to its feet. All 12 players saw time with 12 hitting the scoring column.

Sullivan missed his lone attempt from the field in the second half, but he went 3-for-5 from the foul line as he finished with 20 points in 26 minutes of action. Francis Arnold got the start for the first time this season and the guard hit a tri of treys, en route to a 15-point effort. Beckett had 15 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks while Daulton Derr added 12 points and seven boards. Cam Lee and Adonis Fleming each hit two from 3-point land and they finished with eight points apiece. Jay Donovan had six points and dished out six of the team's 19 assists.

Tommy Soulias scored seven points to lead Kean. Four players chipped in six points apiece, including Mike Shaughnessy who also added four rebounds and three assists.
