DE PERE, Wis. - St. Norbert College senior guard Jeremy Paprocki scored a career-high 12 points to lift the Green Knights to a 78-67 win over Lake Forest College in a Midwest Conference game at Schuldes Sports Center's Connie Tilley Court.

Paprocki scored 10 of his points in the second half, including three key 3-pointers, to help the Green Knights score 49 points in the final 20 minutes of action.

Lake Forest (1-5, 1-3 MWC) held a 32-29 halftime lead and increased its margin to 41-31 with 16:48 left. Paprocki hit 3-pointers on St. Norbert's next two possessions to trim the deficit to 41-37. The Green Knights stayed in range until Izaiah Anderson scored two baskets to make it 49-47 with 11:45 left, and Paprocki canned a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 10:48 to go to give the Green Knights a 50-49 lead.

Chris Madson's conventional three-point play tied the game at 53-53 with 8:53 left, but Brandon Gries' 3-pointer with 8:24 left gave the Green Knights a lead they would never relinquish. St. Norbert canned all 16 of its free-throw attempts in the final 3:53 of the game to close out the win.

Gries led St. Norbert (3-2, 2-1) with 18 points, while Andrew Schwoerer added 15 points. Anderson finished with 14 points and nine rebounds - both career-high totals. Paul Appleton added 15 points off the bench, and kept St. Norbert in the game early with 11 first-half points. St. Norbert shot 47.1 percent (24-for-51) from the floor and outrebounded the Foresters 34-26.

Jeff Beck led Lake Forest with 17 points. Brian Madson added 15 points and Chris Madson chipped in with 12. The Foresters shot 49.1 percent (27-for-55) from the floor but got to the free-throw line just six times to St. Norbert's 26.
