CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Gallaudet University men's basketball team entered the New Year healthy and ready for its first road trip north in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on Saturday. The Bison went up against Cazenovia College and led for the majority of the game, including the entire second half, en route to a 63-60 road win. Gallaudet (5-6) remains perfect in conference play at 3-0 in the South Division while Cazenovia (3-8) drops to 0-2 in the North Division.
Senior forward Layton Seeber (Champaign, Ill.) led the Bison with 15 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Junior forward Danny Kelly (Strongsville, Ohio) saw his first game action in over a month as he logged 19 minutes off the bench. Kelly matched Seeber's 15 points and added five rebounds and two assists. Senior guard Brandon McMillan (Frederick, Md.) also returned to the starting line-up after missing all but one game in the month of December with an injury. McMillan played 34 minutes and scored nine points, six rebounds and two assists in the win.
