No. 15 Transylvania used a balanced attack to knock off Mount St. Joseph 67-58 and maintain its lead atop the Heartland Conference standings.

The Pioneers (20-2, 14-1 HCAC) were paced by Barrett Meyer, who scored 16 points- 14 in the second half.

All-America candidates Brandon Rash and Ethan Spurlin were also strong for Transy, who won its ninth game in a row. Rash scored 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting and Spurlin added eight points and eight rebounds.

Mt. St. Joseph (7-15, 3-12) got 20 points each from David Mann and David Lane.
