NEW YORK, N.Y. - While nearly everyone will sit down on Thursday to gorge themselves on turkey and stuffing, the Lehman men's basketball team feasted on its opponent, Vaughn College, on Tuesday night, riding 20 points and nine rebounds from Mathias Raggiotto to its third win of the season, a 78-46 blowout of the Warriors at Baruch College.

Raggiotto was one of three Lightning players in double figures, withPhil Ductan chipping in 12 points, and Anthony Rodriguez adding 11 points and six rebounds.

The Lightning shot 41 percent from the floor compared to just 31 percent for the Warriors, who also turned the ball over a staggering 36 times.

Following a sloppy first half by both teams that saw Vaughn trailing only 35-26 after the first 20 minutes, Lehman slowly pulled away behind 11 second half points from Raggiotto as well as contributions up and down the Lightning bench.  Aside from Raggiotto, nine other Lightning players got into the scoring column in the second half, led by Sebastian Pessoa's six points and four rebounds.

Junior Stanley Stephens put an exclamation point on the evening's action when Rodriguez found him streaking down the court for a slam dunk that pushed Lehman's advantage to 76-45 with just over one minute to play.

Lehman does not return to action until November 29 when it will host City College of New York as part of a doubleheader slate of basketball to be held at York College.  The Lehman men will tip at 4 p.m. followed by the Lehman women at 6 p.m.
