WAVERLY, Iowa - Jordan Sathoff scored 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds and Wartburg held on down the stretch, beating Simpson 81-76 on Saturday at Levick Arena.

Chad Boston (Des Moines, Iowa) scored a season-high 24 points on 10 of 13 shooting for the Storm (2-4, 1-1). Zack Barragan (Ankeny, Iowa) added 16 points and Cornelius Mosby (Chicago, Ill.) went for 16 and eight rebounds.

Wartburg never trailed and led by as much as 13 in the second half. Tied 52-52 after a 3-pointer by Barragan, Wartburg added cushion when Sathoff scored six points as part of a 10-0 run.

But Simpson couldn't complete the comeback, as Wartburg thwarted every rally down the stretch.
