RADNOR, Pa. – The #12 Cabrini College men's basketball team was the definition of balance in today's 83-49 home win over the Baptist Bible College Defenders.   The win improved the Cavaliers' record to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.    The victory also extends Cabrini's home CSAC win streak to 37 games, including regular and post seasons.

All 15 of Cabrini's players played at least five minutes, today, with no one reaching the 20 minute mark.  Thirteen Cavaliers scored at least three points and thirteen grabbed at least one rebound in the win.

The Cavaliers wasted little time in seizing control of the game as the Blue and White tallied the game's first 22 points, keeping the Defenders off the scoreboard until the 9:03 mark of the first half.  Cabrini continued to push the tempo throughout the first half, even as the reserves saw significant action.

Cabrini took a 43-21 lead into halftime on the strength of 51.5% shooting.  The Cavaliers turned 10 Baptist Bible turnovers into 12 points and dominated the paint to the tune of a 16-2 advantage.

The halftime break didn't slow the Cavaliers as they continued to extend their advantage.  When the reserves got their chance on the court in the second half, they continued with the same intensity as the starters, outscoring Baptist Bible's bench 32-8 after the break.

For the first time in recent memory, not a single Cavaliers player reached the 10 point plateau. Junior Goran Dulac, sophomore Fran Rafferty and freshman Brima Rogers recorded nine points each, while junior A.J. Williams and Jeremy Knowles added eight points apiece.

Dulac also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.

Preseason All-American Cory Lemons took just one shot and for the first time in his Cabrini career went scoreless.  Instead of scoring, the senior recorded a game-high six assists and three steals, while grabbing five rebounds in 19 minutes of play.

The Cavaliers will take a break during final week and return to the court next Saturday, when they welcome the University of Scranton Royals for a nonconference women's and men's doubleheader.  The women will tip at 4:00 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 6:00 p.m.
