LA PLUME, Pa. (November 30, 2011) -  The Keystone College Giants were able to snap a three-game winning streak by Centenary as the Cyclones fell 88-80 tonight.

Despite the loss, senior Larry Lenahan (Asbury Park, N.J./Asbury Park) was able to extend his streak of consecutive games with a double-double to four as he finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and one steal before fouling out of the game late in the second half.

Unfortunately for Centenary, the Giants dominated the first half, only allowing the Cyclones to take a three point lead at 5-2 before taking over as they pushed towards an 18 point lead entering the half at 48-30.

The Cyclones came out of the half on fire though as they went on a 9-0 run with shots alternating between Lenahan and junior Warren Murphy (Ridgefield Park, N.J./Ridgefield Park) to shorten the Giants lead to 48-39.

Down 84-74 with just under 1:30 to go in the game, the Cyclones came firing back with back-to-back three pointers from Max Hughes (Nazareth, Pa./Notre Dame Green Pond) and Murphy to limit the Giants lead to 84-78.

Unfortunately for the Cyclones, Keystone was able to battle it out and take an 88-80 win over Centenary to snap the three-game winning streak and bring the Cyclones to a 3-3 record, 1-1 in CSAC play.

Murphy finished the game with a game-high 20 points as well as seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals on the day. Sophomore Gabe Cheavers (Howell, N.J./Howell) finished the day three points shy of his first double-double of the season with seven points, 11 rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

The Cyclones return to action on Saturday when they travel to Immaculata, Pa. to take on the Immaculata University Mighty Macs at 1:00pm.
