GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy finished off an impressive regular season by defeating Rosemont, 81-64, in a CSAC contest Thursday night on Senior Night.

The Griffins' three senior captains made the most of their last regular-season contest at the Griffin complex, combining for 40 of the team's 81 points. Jon Crabtree led all scorers with 22 points, Jon Hogga finished with 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, and Brian Haas added six points and four boards on the night.

After taking a 44-31 lead at the break, the Griffins started the second half on a 10-2 run to push the lead to 21 points with just over 14 minutes left to play. Gwynedd would lead by as much as 26 in the second half.

Gwynedd (20-5, 15-3 CSAC) dominated the boards all night, finishing with a 45-24 edge in rebounds over the Ravens (7-18, 5-13 CSAC). The Griffins also got contributions from their entire bench, which scored 32 points in the victory. Freshman Brandyn Wims added 13 off the bench and Doug Berzins chipped in eight points, all coming in the first half.

Harrison Carsillo and Greg Gardner both finished with 16 points for the Ravens and Justin Chaney dished out a game-high nine assists to go with his 15 points.

Gwynedd, who clinched the #2 seed in the CSAC Playoffs, finish the regular season with an 11-1 record at home. They will look to continue their dominance at the Griffin Complex Tuesday night when they host a semi-final matchup beginning at 7 p.m.
