Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's men's basketball team dropped a thrilling 70-65 overtime game in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night.  The Saints close out their regular season home slate with the loss.

Junior Tarek Ammoury led the Saints (5-19, 3-12 CAC) with 23 points while fellow junior John Magnani added 12 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.

Down 56-49 with 5:26 to play in regulation, Frostburg State (11-13, 6-9 CAC) used a 7-0 run over the next four minutes to force a tie at 57-57.  Ammoury would hit a running layup with 33 ticks remaining before FSU's Steven Ogg forced overtime with an off-balance layup in the paint with four second to go.

In overtime, both squads traded buckets to push the game to 61-61 but DeSean Antoine knocked down a three-pointer on the ensuing possession to take the lead the rest of the way.  A pair of free throws by Brian Anderson with 25 seconds remaining gave the Bobcats a five point lead and put the game away for good.

A close first half saw six lead changes and two ties early before the Bobcats jumped to as much as a nine point lead.  Marymount would battle back, cutting the deficit to a single possession and going into the break down 32-29.

Anderson paced the Bobcats with 23 points while Antoine added 17 and Maurice Williams had 16.

Marymount returns to the hardwood on Saturday as it closes out the regular season at Stevenson.
