Waterville, Maine – Senior Isiah Brathwaite and junior Antonio Juco both had big nights on their way to 24 points as the Thomas College Terriers (11-10, 6-4 NAC) took down the visiting Badgers of Johnson State (6-14, 3-7 NAC) 107-83. The 24 point duo also combined for eight rebounds and sent 90 percent of their free throws through the hoop.
The first half saw the Badgers jump out to a quick lead but the Terriers were able reign in the visitors at the 7:45 mark were they took a one point lead and never looked back. The Terriers were led by Jarrad DeVaughn's 15 first half points; along with Brathwaite's 13 points and Juco's 13 from off the bench.
At the half it was the Terriers on top 51-36.
The second half saw the Terriers continue to spread the gap as they took their lead to as far as 30 points.
Johnson's Andy Bousono came off the bench to lead the Badgers with 15 points, going 6-13 from the field, and grabbing four rebounds.
The Terriers will be back on the hardwood tomorrow when they take on Lyndon (9-13, 8-3 NAC) at 2 p.m. Johnson will travel up the road to take on UMaine at Farmington (9-12, 5-6 NAC).
