Meier's double-double not enough to lift MSOE

More news about: MSOE
For the first time in eight tries, Concordia-Wisconsin beat the Raiders 84-62 Saturday afternoon at the Kern Center in Milwaukee. The Falcons last knocked off MSOE in 2005. Senior forward Austin Meier led the Raiders with 21 points and 11 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the year. He also recorded four steals.

MSOE pulled within seven in the second half after Concordia-Wisconsin held a 22-point first half lead. However, the Falcons ran away from there as the Raiders could not get any closer the rest of the way. Junior guard Oren Bloom put in 14 points for MSOE while freshman guard Conor Cassidy contributed eight points off the bench.

The Raiders (10-5, 4-3 NAC) are back in action Tuesday night at home against Rockford at 7 p.m.
